Afaik, if a gift isn't claimed, the credit just goes back to your company account. They don't just lose it.

Yeah, they totally do. I've seen it mentioned that bigger orders usually get some kind of deal, maybe less platform fees or something. You'd have to talk to their sales team though, it's not like a public coupon code.
